This project transformed a long-neglected landscape by removing tons of old material, adding topsoil, laying weed mats, and applying premium mulch, followed by a naturalistic redesign using exclusively native Wisconsin plants. In the fall, we’ll seed 70,000 square feet of the golf course with prairie mix to enhance beauty and address drainage issues with deep-rooted species.

This client was looking to use native plant communities to add privacy to their front yard and color all throughout the yard. They also wanted a secluded sitting area surrounded by flowers and a dedicated space for a raised bed they use for a vegetable garden. 

This design aims to integrate the property with the surrounding natural area, increase the property's ecological value, and create an exciting and beautiful space for the home owners who were bored of their big empty lawn.
