We specialize in incorporating the beauty and ecological richness of wild landscapes into our human landscapes. In all of our projects we put the local ecosystem first by selecting plants native to the region. Plants that support the wildlife which they have evolved alongside for thousands of years. A truly beautiful landscape does more than just please the eye.
From small gardens to multi-acre prairies, we’re equipped to create a landscape that fits your space and vision. All plants and seeds are either grown by us or sourced from trusted local native plant nurseries.
Planting Options
We employ two methods of planting. Read more to figure out what's best for you.
Seeded Plantings
Starting from seed is the go-to method for projects focused on large scale cost savings or sustainability efforts. It's by far the most cost effective route when compared to plugs or mature plants, and still delivers great results.
The main thing to consider with seed is your desired time-to-maturity. It will take three seasons for seeded plantings to mature, and will require light management during the first two seasons. We handle the management to ensure everything establishes successfully.
Designed Planting with Plugs (young plants)
If you're looking for something more manicured, or want a mature look in a short period of time, then plugs are for you. This method grants us full creative control over the look of the planting and will establish in a single season.
The tradeoff with plugs are higher costs. Given that, we recommend this method for smaller flower beds around highly visible areas like entrances, walkways, or business signs.
