Plant Description
Showy Milkweed is recognized by its large fuzzy leaves and star-shaped pink flowers. It performs best in well-drained soils and full sun. Like other milkweeds, it spreads by rhizomes and supports monarch caterpillars. Minimal maintenance is required beyond occasional thinning if colonies expand.
