Plant Description
Purple Lovegrass forms compact clumps that erupt into clouds of purple seedheads in late summer. It thrives in sandy or well drained soils and is highly drought tolerant. This species works well in dry prairies, rock gardens, and along pathways. Minimal care is needed aside from cutting back in spring.
