Plant Description

Prairie Onion produces spherical clusters of pink flowers in late summer when many prairie plants are beginning to fade. It thrives in dry, rocky, or sandy soils and full sun. The foliage remains low while flower stalks rise above surrounding vegetation. Minimal care is required once established.
