Plant Description
Pennsylvania Sedge is one of the best native lawn alternatives for dry shade. It forms soft, flowing colonies that resemble a natural meadow floor. This species thrives in sandy or well-drained soils and tolerates root competition from trees. Once established, it requires little care and may be left uncut or lightly trimmed once per year.
