Plant Description
Common Milkweed is one of the most important host plants for monarch butterflies. It spreads vigorously by underground rhizomes and is ideal for naturalized or restoration areas. The large fragrant flowers attract many pollinators. Cut stems in late fall or spring if cleanup is desired.
