Big Bluestem is a signature tallgrass prairie species recognized by its distinctive ‘turkey foot’
seedheads. It provides strong vertical structure and excellent wildlife habitat. This grass thrives in full sun and adapts to a range of soils, especially loams and clays. Cutting back in spring helps maintain vigor and appearance.
